Affiliate cookies in detail

When you click a product link on Snowskid, you are redirected to a retailer through an affiliate network. That network sets a small cookie on your device so the retailer can credit Snowskid if you complete a purchase. We receive only aggregate commission reports — we cannot see who you are or what you specifically purchased.

We use the following affiliate networks, each with its own cookie policy:

Browser cookie settings

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that blocking third-party cookies will prevent affiliate tracking, meaning Snowskid will not earn a commission on purchases you make after clicking our links — the gear price to you is unaffected.

Theme preference (local storage)

Your dark/light mode choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key snowskid-theme. This is local to your device and is never transmitted to our servers. To clear it, open your browser's developer tools and delete the entry, or clear site data for snowskid.com.
